Ohnishi: 食い気味マン参上。昔さぁ、furniture という単語をファニーちゃんって覚えてたんだよね。さて問題です。私は nature を何と言って覚えていたでしょうか・・・ねーちゃん。

Roza: Ah, let’s just get started. Akino Roza here.
Chris: Chris McVay here. It’s good to associate one word with a completely different word that helps you remember, so good example. Anyway, let’s get started.
Ohnishi: さぁ、それではさっそく始めていきましょう。

Chris: OK, it’s practice time. Today, we are focusing on the word just, and just always implies perfect fit, perfect much. You could be talking about time, people, situations whatever … perfect fit. OK, so bearing that in mind, let’s begin the practice.
Roza: Just a moment, let me just say, please remember to think only in English, OK?
Chris: Great idea. Here we go, “You’re just like my dad.” “I got to work just in time.” “That’s just what I wanted.” “That’s just what I thought.”
Roza: Let’s continue, “We’ve just arrived.” “We’ve just got married.”
Chris: OK, a few more, “This car is just stunning.” “I just can’t stand your constant whining.”
Roza: “Just a moment”, “Just a munite”, “Just a second”, “This laptop was just 50,000 yen.” “Can I just use your phone?” “Just look at this photo.”
That was just perfect.
Chris: Well done, guys.
Ending
Ohnishi: Hey Chris, do you use the word obstinate very often?
Chris: Actually no, I hardly ever use it, but some cased if I’m talking about you, it’s a perfect fit.
Ohnishi: Oh, that’s understandable.
Roza: Well, you know, I prefer stubborn.
