Ohnishi: Silence.

Practice 10:11
Chris: OK guys, it’s practice time. Today, we are focusing on “it”, but it’s helpful to compare with “that”. Now, the basic image of “that” is … pointing to something outside, while “it” is the opposite, “it” is receiver. It’s a receiver from something, from the outside. So, with that in mind, let’s practice together.
Roza & Chris: “What’s that? – It’s a wine bottle opener.”
Roza & Chris: “What’s that? – It’s a grater.”
Chris: And another one, “I’m really sorry. It won’t happen again.”
Roza: Now, these all receive the situation, right? so, keep that in mind. “It’s a fine day today.” “It’s five o’clock now.” “It’s dark here.”
Chirs: Good, a couple more, “Let’s call it a day.” “You can make it if you try hard.” “That’s it.” “I got it.”
Roza: And our last example, “It takes only 15 minutes from here to your earth.”
Chris: OK guys, well done.
Roza: Excellent work.
Ending
Ohnishi: Hey Chris, do you make a wish when you see a shooting star?
Chris: Yeah, I think it’s kind of a tradition, to do that so, I go along with it.
Roza: What about you, Sensei?
・・・・・
Ohnishi: というわけで、今日はこの辺で。
All: Bye.
