Ohnishi: ジムの七不思議。ジムでバーベルを持ち上げるのはすすんでやるのに、玄関の小包を家に入れるのはイヤなのはなぜ？

Roza: Hey everyone. Akino Roza here. Are you ready for today’s lesson? You can make it to go!
Chris: Hi guys, Chris McVay here. Uh, I can smell like tandoori chicken or something. Must be because I’m dying to have lunch.

Chris: OK, let’s put lots of energy into today’s practice, OK guys? Do you remember the structure we pointed out and practiced with make? Well, it’s exactly the same with have. Have – verb, my hair – object, cut – complement, ポンポンポン, ポンポンポン, one two three, it’s as easy as one two three. So, let’s practice with rhythm, catch the rhythm. Here we go.
“Glad to have you back.” Try?
That’s right. Feel the rhythm, one last time? “Glad to have you back.”
Roza: Here is the next example. “have my hair cut”, “have this coat cleaned”.
Can you feel the rhythm? One last time. “have my hair cut”, “have this coat cleaned”.
Chris: And another one. “have your homework done”. Have – your homework – done. ポンポンポン. OK, try together. “have your homework done”.
One last time. “have your homework done”.
Roza: And now to a last example. “have everybody laughing”.
So, everybody equals laughing. That’s the situation here. “have everybody laughing”.
Perfect.
Chris: Well done, guys.
S + have + O + C の形で、O = C の関係になっています。

Roza: Well you know, I used to love watch Monty Python, Monty Python’s Flying Circus. So, I’m going to choose John Cleese. How about you, Roza?
Roza: Well, I would have to say, Ohnishi Hiroto.
Chris: Ah, yeah.
Roza: Oh wait. He is an English teacher, not a comedian.
Chris: I’m getting mixed up, Roza, huh?
Roza: What about you, Sensei?
