Practice 10:00
Chris: OK, are you ready for practice? Now today, I want you to put one hand behind your ear, and lean your head forward. Have you done that? I’m checking on you. OK, this will give you the feeling of listening, like look, it’s an outward direction. You are deliberately pushing out word to catch, whatever noise, or whatever somebody is saying. OK, so with that in mind, let’s try. “Listen.” “Listen up.”
Roza: Here too, you get that motion of the hand behind the ear, listening close, right? So, here we go. “Shh! I’m listening for my soccer team’s result.”
One more time, “Shh! I’m listening for my soccer team’s result.”
Chris: OK, and another example, “Don’t listen in on our conversation.”
Once more, “Don’t listen in on our conversation.”
Roza: Here is the next example, “listen to the radio”.
Now this one, I’m sure you all do, “listen to Radio Eikaiwa”.
Last one, “listen to classical music”.
Chris: Well done, guys.
Roza: Excellent work.
Ending
・・・・・
Chris: You know what? This reminds me of a dance, cha cha cha.
Ohnishi: というわけで今日はこの辺で。
All: Bye!
