Opening
Ohnishi: 何でも人のせいにするマン、参上。冷蔵庫全然冷えないよなぁ。不良品なんじゃないの？と言っていたら、あなたがいつもバタバタ開けて食べ物探してるからでしょ。って怒られました。
ラジオ英会話、ハートでつかめ英語の極意、講師の大西泰斗です。
Roza: あーあ、またまた人のせいにしちゃったんだね。あきのろーざです。
Chris: Chris McVay here. Guys, I just thought of the most brilliant opening, but I forgot.
Roza: Oh, no.
Ohnishi: さ、それではさっそく始めましょう。

Chris: Well, we are always delighted to read so many good reviews about our textbook, thank you so much.
Practice 9:50
Chris: Right, it’s practice time again. Here we go. Now, the basic image of for, direction towards something, facing something, naturally leads to any expression of seeking or wanting. So, let’s focus on that today.
Roza: Remember, think only in English.
Chris: Here we go, “I’ve been looking for them.” “I’m dying for a cola and some popcorn!”
Roza: “hope for”, “long for”, “wish for”.
Chris: OK, I’m sure you can feel is notion of seeking or wanting very strongly. Let’s keep going, “call for”, one more for me, “ask for”.
Roza: And our last example, “Who’s for a beer?” Let’s try one more time, “Who’s for a beer?”
Chris: OK, well done guys, great practice.
Roza: You did great.
Ending
Chris: You know, I’m dying for a hot curry.
Roza: You know what? I’ve got a craving for cola and popcorn.
Ohnishi: OK, they are all on me.
Roza: やったー。 Hey what are you doing?
Ohnishi: Ah, I’m looking for money.
Chris: I knew there was something wrong man.
Ohnishi: というわけで、今日はこの辺で。
All: Bye.
最後のクリスさんのところ、分からないです。
I need with something wrong there のように聞こえますが・・・・どうなんだろ？！
I need with ~ じゃなくて I knew there was ~ らしいです。ツィッターで教えてもらいました。
「やっぱりね、何かおかしいと思ったんだ。」みたいな感じですね。
