Opening
Ohnishi: うーん、面接に合格して仕事に就くのって、本当にうれしいですよね。私が大学に奉職したのが30年以上も前になりますが、その日のことは今でも覚えています。
ラジオ英会話、ハートでつかめ英語の極意、講師の大西泰斗です。
Roza: Hey everyone. This is Akino Roza.
David: And I’m David Evans. I’m sure this is a dream job for all three of us.
Ohnishi: それでは、さっそく始めましょう。

David: All right, some verbs pair only with to-infinitives. These are some of them. They point to actions that will start after. All right? let’s practice and master them together.
Roza: OK guys, repeat after us. to work hard every day …
- I promise to work hard every day.
David: Great work so far, keep it up. to buy a house …
- We decided to buy a house.
Roza: Keep going. to leave soon …
- I plan to leave soon.
David: All right and let’s wrap up with one more. to split the bill …
- We agreed to split the bill.
David: Unlock your potential.
Roza: Repetition is the key.
Both: Great work.
pair が動詞で使われてますね。ちょっと難しかったです。
Grammar in Action
気が向いたときに・・・これはディクテーションじゃなくて、自分の答えです。金曜日と違って文が短いので、だいたい時間内に書けます。^^

後半の文がイマイチでした

Ohnishi: そうそう、大学の面接の後にですねぇ、学長にかつ丼をごちそうになったわけですが、そのかつ丼がおいしくてねぇ。そっからかつ丼が大好きになって食べ過ぎて・・・
Roza: だから減らないんだね。
