ラジオ英会話、ハートでつかめ英語の極意、講師の大西泰斗です。
Roza: The more you practice speaking English out loud, the more it'll help you be fluent in English. This is Akino Roza.
David: And I'm David Evans. Let's keep that level going up, up, up.
Onishi: それでは、さっそく始めていきましょう。
that blabbermouth! 2:50
Onishi: What's the nuance of that?
Roza: It's like the Japanese あいつー.
David: Yeah, it's pretty common to hear when people are frustrated or angry, if you listen to the dialog, he says, "That blabbermouth!" So, you can feel the emotion.
Onishi: なるほどね、よく分かりました。
Grasp the Concept

まぁこんなもんかな
Pronunciation Polish 12:55
David: Oh, hi there. Welcome back to pronunciation polish. Here is today's sentence. "She knows many ways to save time when doing homework" ...
All right, just a couple of points to focus on today. First, she and knows together, the e in she becomes much smaller, more the /ə/ sound, she knows ...
All right, then to save, you know this to, to ... to save ...
All right, and next up, doing and homework will join together, maybe that h, kind of disappears, doing homework ...
All right, let's make some chunks and then build up to the full sentence. She knows many ways, to save time, when doing homework.
All right, and let's try the full sentence.
- She knows many ways to save time when doing homework.
One last time.
- She knows many ways to save time when doing homework.
All right, good job.

Ending
Onishi: さぁ、英語学習は続けることが最も大切です。今月も、ねばり強く頑張っていただけましたね。すばらしいですよ。
Roza: That's right. Keep on doing whatever you can. Even if it's part of the lesson, as long as you are doing every day, you are making progress.
David: That's right. A little bit at a time is OK, what matters is the effort.
Onishi: というわけで、今日はこの辺で。
All: Bye.
