講師陣の英会話を書きとり(スクリプト)

大西先生、デイビッドさん、ろーざさんの英会話部分を書きとってみましょう!(大西先生のギャグもできるだけ書きとります)

Opening

Onishi: いやぁ、キャスティングが原作のイメージと違うってことは、よくありますよね。逆にキャスティングがぴったりだったのは、鬼平犯科帳でしょうね。中村吉右衛門、いい男でしたね。

ラジオ英会話、ハートでつかめ英語の極意、講師の大西泰斗です。

Roza: Akino Roza here.

David: And I'm David Evans. OK everyone. Let's get started.

Onishi: それでは、さっそくはじめていきましょう。

Grasp the Concept
  • Open the window, please.
  • Where's the restroom?
  • She's gone to the supermarket. She'll be back soon.
  • The employees in the office are having a meeting.

Roza: Way to go.

Practical Usage

これはディクテーションじゃなくて、自分の答えです

Hi, I'm in the grocery store. Can you check the fridge? Tonight, the Suzukis will come. Enough wines?

Pronunciation Polish 12:50

Roza: OK guys, I know you haven't had enough practice, so here we go with the pronunciation polish. Today's sentence is "I like the movie better than the book" ...

Today we have several points to go over, the /ə/ sound in the and than, as well as the /t/ sound of better, and the disappearing /k/ at the end of book.

Let's go through them one by one. Repeat after me.

the movie ... I like the movie ... better ... than the book ... better than the book, I like the movie - better than the book.

All right, let's go little faster now and really feel that rhythm as you practice.

  • I like the movie better than the book.

And natural speed.

  • I like the movie better than the book.

Excellent work guys. I hope you like each lesson better than the one before it. Keep on going.

Ending

Onishi: Hey guys, this sample of practical usage was a scene from a dinner party, right?

David: Yeah, looks like it. Are dinner parties common in Japan?

Onishi: Ah, not so much.

David: Oh, we have them all the time in America. I love to have friends over.

Onishi: Oh, yeah, you know it's quite a fun, isn't it?

Roza: So, I guess we are going over to David's next week.

Onishi: Nope.

David: Oh!

Onishi: というわけで、今日はこの辺で。

All: Bye.
