Opening

Roza:

Chris: Chris McVay here. Dear listeners, just to confirm that Roza is not the oldest member of our team. I am older than her.

Roza: I don’t think anyone doubts that.

Ohnishi:

Chris: Well guys, you won’t find a statue of the Budda inside our textbook, but you will find lots of useful tips for learning English, check it out.

Practice 9:15

Chris: Well, you’d better get ready, you’d better fasten your seatbelt because this, dear listeners, is probably the most difficult practice you’ve ever done up to now …. It’s actually really easy. What I want you to focus on is that “Can you ride more slowly, please?” It’s exactly the same as just saying, “Can you ride slowly, please?” If you just want to level up or make a comparison, you just put “more” before “Slowly”. So, “Can you ride slowly, please?” … add “more” … “Can you ride more slowly, please?” So, with that in mind, can you say that after me? “Can you ride more slowly, please?”

That’s it, peace of cake, simple, once more. “Can you ride more slowly, please?”

You see? You’ve got it. You can unfasten seatbelt now.

Ending

Ohnishi:

All: Bye.

Chris: No, we should say
