Roza: 今日もがんばろう。Hey everyone. Akino Roza here.
Chris: Chris McVay here. I’m surrounded by weird sounding creatures, so I think the sooner we get started the better.
Ohnishi: それではさっそく始めきましょう。

Chris: OK, guys. It’s practice time. Now, I want you to grasp the sense, or the feeling of this verb ask. And the feeling is … お願い.
Roza: And can I ask you guys to please think in English?
Chris: OK, let’s practice together. Here we go, “ask him to come~”, “ask him to buy ~”, “ask him to be more careful”.
Roza: Continuing on, “Can I ask you a private question?” “May I ask you a private question?” “Can I ask you one more question?” “May I ask you one more question?”
Chris: OK, here is a very common one you should learn by heart, “May I ask where you are from?” Once more, “May I ask where you are from?”
Roza: And the last few, “Don’t ask.” “You’re asking for it.”
Chris: Great job, guys.
Roza: That was excellent.
