Opening
Ohnishi: ラジオ英会話、ハートでつかめ英語の極意、講師の大西泰斗です。
Roza: え、それで終わり？
Ohnishi: そう、クリスが電話かけてきたから面白いこと考える時間が無かったんだよね。
Roza: 今日は人のせいにする日なんだね。Akino Roza here.
Chris: Why is it always my fault? Anyway, Chris McVay here. You know, I need a break.
Roza: Chris, we’ve only just started.
Ohnishi: それではさっそく始めていきましょう。
早くて難しいですが、anyway って言ってるかな。

Chris: OK, let’s go, “I’ll be there by six.
Roza: Next example, “By the way, I’m going to a classical concert.” Let’s try one more time together, “By the way, I’m going to a classical concert.”
Chris: OK and one more example, “Are you going by yourself?”
So, I hope you noticed the basic image of closeness in all these examples. Well done.
Roza: You are doing great. Let’s take it day by day.
variety of usages と複数形の方がおさまりがいい気がしますが、usage と聞こえます。→ variety of uses ですね。ツィッターで教えてもらいました。
that stems from ~ とするべきのような気がしますが、stem と聞こえます。ちなみに、stem from = come from らしいです。（英辞郎から）
stem は名詞として使われてるような気がします。
