ダイアログ和訳の後
Practice 9:12
Chris: OK guys, today we are going to look at “if”. As you all know, “if” is the basic conditional. Now there are two rhythms I want you to focus on here. One is in the pre-position – “if ~, …”, or the post-position – “… , if ~”. So, we’ve got lots of examples for your.
Here we go,
- If you need help, just call me.
- If you have any problems, just call me.
- If anything serious happens, just call me.
Roza: OK, let’s continue. Remember to keep with the rhythm.
- She’ll break up with you if you don’t change.
Let’s try another one,
- She’ll break up with you if you aren’t going to marry her.
Chris: OK and the last one,
- If you do that again, I go home.
- If you do that again, I’m going home.
Roza: You guys did excellent. And if you keep practicing, you’ll get even better.
Chris: That’s true.
Ending
Ohnishi: If you do that again, I go home.
Chris: What did I do?
Ohnishi: If you do that again, I go home.
Chris: No, no, no, but what did I do?
Ohnishi: I’m just practicing.
Roza: Hey Chris, Chris, do it again.
Ohnishi: というわけで、今日はこの辺で。
All: Bye.
