Ohnishi: それでは、今週もがんばっていきましょう。

Roza: All right everyone, it’s time for today’s practice. This technique is vert useful. We use not+強い表現 to balance the strength of these phrases. It’s really fun, it’s really easy, OK? Let’s practice these together. Here we go.
- Life is not always easy.
Let’s go one more time.

Roza: Let’s keep going.
- That’s not necessarily true.
David: Great work. Let’s keep going.
- He doesn’t talk very much.
- He’s not so talkative.
Roza: And a couple more. Here, notice the difference in the position of “don’t”.
- I don’t really like that.
- I really don’t like that.
David: Unlock your potential.
Roza: Repetition is the key.
Both: Great work.
Grammar in Action
気が向いたときに・・・これはディクテーションじゃなくて、自分の答えです。
Everyone doesn’t really like the big party. Some people like the small gathering.
これだとちょっと意味が変わっちゃうか
