大西先生、デイビッドさん、ろーざさんの英会話部分を書きとってみましょう!(大西先生のギャグもできるだけ書きとります)

Opening

Onishi: ババババーン・・・なんかバーバラ、いい感じに最近なってきましたよね。

ラジオ英会話、ハートでつかめ英語の極意、講師の大西泰斗です。

Roza: Hi everyone. This is Akino Barbara, I mean Roza.

David: And I'm David Evans. OK, let's get in.

Onishi: それでは、さっそく始めていきましょう。

lousy 2:45

Onishi: Is it related to louse?

David: Ah, originally yes. That's where it came from.

Grasp the Concept
  • Did you remember to bring wine?
  • Her smile always brings me joy.
  • What brings you here?
  • The computer has brought about many changes in our lives.

David: Good work.

Practical Usage

これはディクテーションじゃなくて、自分の答えです

Did you bring any change? There is a sign over there, right? And it says to through coins into this pond brings you good fortune. Let's try.

まぁこんなもんか

Pronunciation Polish 13:15

David: Oh, hi there. Are you looking to polish your pronunciation? well, I've got just the thing. Let's look at today's phrase. "I bought you a fruit basket" ...

All right, two main areas for polish today, first is brought you. See how those two words blend together, let's try that a couple times. brought you ...

All right, next is the t at the end of fruit and basket, they disappear, listen to it. fruit ... basket ... put them together, fruit basket ...

All right, now let's put the whole sentence together.

  • I bought you a fruit basket.

And let's go one more time, nice and smooth.

  • I bought you a fruit basket.

All right, if you can master these techniques, you'll be one step closer to sounding like a native speaker. Great work today.

Ending

Onishi: Hey Roza, have you ever tossed a coin into a pond?

Roza: Yeah, when I was little, I would toss pennies into ponds.

Onishi: How about you, David?

David: Yeah, I've ah, I've tossed many a coin into many a fountain.

Onishi: Hum, I tossed a lot of coins into a pond and I lost a fortune.

David: えー!

Roza: だめじゃん!

Onishi: というわけで、今日はこの辺で。

All: Bye.

1つめは、(複数の)池に(複数の)ペニー硬貨を、、、漠然とした表現

2つめは、(複数の)泉に(複数の)硬貨を、だけど1つの池には1つの硬貨を

(こちら、「ひとつひとつのコイン、池に注目」では?とのご指摘もありました。こっちの方が理にかなってるようにも思います)

3つ目は、1つの池にたくさんの硬貨を

って感じでしょうか?!難しいですね ^^
