Opening

Onishi: 和歌山のみなさん、おはようございます。

ラジオ英会話、ハートでつかめ英語の極意、講師の大西泰斗です。

Roza: 先生、なんで今日和歌山なの?

Onishi: いやぁ、今度高野山行くんだよ。楽しみ!

Roza: Akino Roza here.

David: And I'm David Evans. Well, have fun.

Onishi: それでは、さっそく始めていきましょう。

Grasp the Concept
  • That guy took my purse!
  • Which road shall we take?
  • It'll take us to Paddington Station.

David: Good work.

Practical Usage

これはディクテーションじゃなくて、自分の答えです

There are two ways to go to the park. One is to take the bus which take us to the north exit. Taking the train bring us to the south one. Which way do you prefer?

exit よりも entrance の方がいいですね

Pronunciation Polish 13:00

David: Thank you for riding the pronunciation polish express, bound for native pronunciation. The next stop is today's phrase. Here it is. "We need to take the Heathrow Express" ...

All right, so just like that express train, let's feel the pull between need and to, need to ... need to take ... We need to take ...

  • We need to take the Heathrow Express.

All right, you are moving at high speed towards a native pronunciation, stick with it.

need と to が引っ張り合ってる感じでしょうか?!

Ending

Onishi: Hey guys, have you ever been to Wakayama?

Roza: Yeah, I actually went there for the first time the other day to see a guy with some horses.

David: I've never actually had the chance, what shouldn't I miss when I go?

Roza: Your train.

Onishi: というわけで、今日はこの辺で。

All: Bye.

いまいち意味が分からず、、、Pronunciation Polishに続いてる?!
