ディクテーション

講師陣の英会話を書きとり(スクリプト)

大西先生、デイビッドさん、ろーざさんの英会話部分を書きとってみましょう!(大西先生のギャグもできるだけ書きとります)

Opening

Onishi: Hey David, do you remember I wore a Dracula costume in a Halloween party?

David: Oh yeah, that brings me back. I think I was a pilot that year.

Onishi: Oh, yeah yeah, yes, you were.

Roza: Ah, it's time to start the lesson guys.

Onishi: ラジオ英会話、ハートでつかめ英語の極意。講師の大西泰斗です。

Roza: Akino Roza here.

David: And I'm David Evans.

Onishi: それでは、さっそく始めていきましょう。

Grasp the Concept
  • It seems we have work over the weekend. - I guess so.
  • Can you guess my age?
  • I don't consider myself fluent at all.
  • I believe we can achieve this by the deadline.

David: Great job.

Practical Usage

これはディクテーションじゃなくて、自分の答えです

You are asking if I'm good at cooking? I guess so, but I consider myself not a pro. I believe almost people can cook this kind of dishes even if you are a beginner.

Practical Usageで作った英文をチェックして、アドバイスしてくれるChat Bot(GPTs)を作ってみました

日本語の文と、使うフレーズを入れなければいけないですが、まぁしかたないです ^^

私がもらったフィードバックです

  • You are asking if... → Are you asking if...
    質問文なので、語順を「Are you~?」に直します。
  • I consider myself not a pro → I don't consider myself a pro
    否定の位置は動詞「consider」にかける方が自然です。
  • almost people → most people
    「ほとんどの人」は “most people” が正しいです。“almost” は「almost all people」などと使います。
  • this kind of dishes → these kinds of dishes
    「dishes」が複数形なので、「these kinds of」に合わせます。
  • even if you are a beginner → even if they're beginners
    主語が一般の「people」なので、代名詞も「they」にします。
Pronunciation Polish 13:20

David: Hum, well, I guess it's time for pronunciation polish. Ah, no, no, no. That's the wrong attitude. Yes, it's time for pronunciation polish! All right, here is today's phrase. "I guess I'm a blue-eyed samurai" ...

We have a three words set today, guess, I'm, a … let's link these up, OK? guess I'm a ... I guess I'm a.

All right, the /d/ in eyed becomes very soft, almost disappears. Let's listen, blue eyed samurai ... All right, so let's try that together, I guess I'm a blue eyed samurai ...

All right, let's make the full sentence together.

  • I guess I'm a blue eyed samurai.

There is a little rhythm, can you feel it?

  • I guess I'm a blue eyed samurai.

You are doing really well. Keep up the practice and you will be there in no time.

Ending

Onishi: Hey David, thank you for bringing cookies you made.

David: Oh yeah, no problem. Were, were they any good, did you like, huh?

Roza: Oh, they were fantastic.

David: Oh, yes, well good.

Onishi: I haven't tried yet.

David: Well, they are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.

Onishi: 本当においしそうなんですよ、みなさん。というわけで、今日はこの辺で。

All: Bye.

文の前後に、ちょっと自信ないです・・・
