講師陣の英会話を書きとり(スクリプト)
大西先生、デイビッドさん、ろーざさんの英会話部分を書きとってみましょう!(大西先生のギャグもできるだけ書きとります)
Opening
Onishi: Welcome to Radio Eikaiwa class. Attendance is mandatory here. mandatory というのは、義務的な・必須の、という意味の形容詞ですよ。
講師の大西泰斗です。
David: Sensei, mandatory attendance is for the three of us.
Roza: No, David, it's for everyone. That's right, it's mandatory you show up, but you don't have to be perfect every time. This is Akino Roza.
David: And I'm David Evans.
Onishi: それでは、さっそく始めていきましょう。
Grasp the Concept
- I'm thinking about it.
- It'll take much longer than you think.
- I think myself lucky.
- It's hard to think of a world without computers.
Roza: Excellent.
Practical Usage
これはディクテーションじゃなくて、自分の答えです
If you think about escaping some classes, please stop this. Attending classes is mandatory. I can't think of easier way to lose this course.
Practical Usageで作った英文をチェックして、アドバイスしてくれるChat Bot(GPTs)を作ってみました
日本語の文と、使うフレーズを入れなければいけないですが、まぁしかたないです ^^
私がもらったフィードバックです
- escaping some classes → 「逃げる」では少し不自然で、学校の文脈では skip classes(授業をサボる)が自然です。
- please stop this → この場合は「やめて」という意味で please don’t が簡潔で自然。
- Attending classes is mandatory → 文法的にはOKですが、英語では Attendance is mandatory の方が一般的。
- lose this course → 「コースを落とす」は fail this course が定番表現です。
- an easier way → 「a」が抜けていたので加えました。
Pronunciation Polish 13:25
Roza: Hey guys, if you are thinking about polishing your pronunciation, do, because it's time to practice. Here we go. Today's sentence is "I think you made a wise choice" ...
For today's practice, we are focusing on one thing, and that's linking. Listen to this, made a ... can you say with me? made a ... made a wise choice ...
Now, since the sentence is pretty easy, I want you to really focus on the rhythm. made a wide choice ...
All right, let's keep going. I think - you made a wide choice ...
OK, let's go a little faster.
- I think you made a wide choice.
How did you do? I think you are making a lot of progress. I'm so proud of you. Keep going.
Ending
Onishi: Hey guys, do you think yourself lucy?
David: Yeah, good question. I definitely think myself very lucky, especially to be here with you guys.
Roza: Oh, you stole my answer, David.
Onishi: Oh, you both stole my answer. というわけで、みんな幸せみたいですよ。それでは、今日はこの辺で。
All: Bye.
