Opening
Ohnishi: ラジオ英会話占い。
Roza: 先生、この占いって有料？無料？
Ohnishi: もちろん無料です。だって占いは・・・
Roza: 売らない。
Ohnishi: あー、オチとるのやめてくれる？
ラジオ英会話、ハートでつかめ英語の極意、講師の大西泰斗です。
Roza: Hey everyone. Akino Roza here.
Chris: Hi guys. Chris McVay here. Speaking of 売る or 売らない, I’m definitely not for sale.
Ohnishi: それでは、さっそく始めていきましょう。
“I impressed myself” 2:50
Chris: Yeah, it’s like a half joking boasting about himself, right?
最初 both things かと思いました。boast で「自慢する」です。
ダイアログ和訳の後 4:50
Roza: I finally have the textbook. I can’t believe it. It seems like a dream.
Practice 10:00
Chris: OK, guys. Are you ready to practice again? Here we go. Get … I’m sure you are all used to the basic image now of motion. And this naturally leads to the meaning of change. Let’s see some examples.
Roza: And remember, think in English. Let’s get going.
Chris: “get angry”, you went angry? Now you are.
“get wet”, you are dry? Now you are wet.
“get warmer”, you are colder? Now you are warmer.
Roza: Here is the next example, “get drunk”, “get married”, “get excited”, “get disappointed”.
Chris: Here is some more, after me, “He got arrested for drunk driving.”
Roza: And the last one, “It’s getting colder and colder.”
