Ohnishi: ラジオ英会話、ハートでつかめ英語の極意、講師の大西泰斗です。うーん、今日のお題はオフ会ですねぇ。なかなか楽しそうですね。
Roza: おー、深いねぇ。Hey everyone. This is Akino Roza.
David: And I’m David Evans. Today’s topic has already got me hungry, so let’s jump ride right in.
Ohnishi: それでは、さっそく始めていきましょう。

David: OK everyone. It’s time to practice. Today’s phrases feature lots of foods from different countries. It’s very common when having house parties in America to serve hors d’oeuvres from different country. So, let’s try them all out.
Roza: So, would you guys like to start the practice? Let’s go.
David: Here is the first.
- Would you like a samosa? I made them myself.
- Would you like a samosa? You must try one.
Roza: Great. Let’s continue.
- Would you care for some coffee or tea?
- Would you care for some soup?
David: These next three are little more casual. Let’s try.
- Care for some bourbon? I’ve got the good stuff.
- Care to try my home-made hummus? It’s so good.
- There’s salsa if you’re interested.
Roza: You know, I love salsa. But not as much as I love how great our listeners did. Excellent work.
David: Very good.

Ohnishi: Huh, would you guys like some samosas?
Roza: Oh, yeah, they look delicious.
David: They look yummy. Are these store-bought?
Ohnishi: No, I made them myself.
Roza: Oh, you know what? I’m actually really full. I’ll pass.
David: Yeah, I’ve certainly lost my appetite.
Ohnishi: えぇー、もう頑張って作ったのにぃ。というわけで、今日はこの辺で。
