David: Sensei, why do you even bother asking? Oh well, ah I’m David Evans. Hi everyone.
Roza: ねぇ、ひどいよねぇ。Hey everyone. This is Akino Roza.

Roza: OK everyone, are you ready to practice? These phrases are very important to master for when you disagree with someone. Being able to use them will allow you to soften your response, which otherwise could come off very harsh. So, be sure to pay attention today.
David: Good point. Let’s try together. Here we go.
- I’m sorry, but I can’t agree.
Roza: Let’s continue.
- I’m afraid that’s not how I see it.
David: OK, good work so far. Let’s continue.
- Not to contradict you, but that isn’t necessary.
- I hate to contradict you, but that isn’t necessary.
- I don’t mean to contradict you, but that isn’t necessary.
Roza: Great, let’s do the last few.
- With all due respect, I have to disagree.
- No disrespect intended, but I have to disagree.

David: Very nice job.
