Roza: Hey everyone. This is Akino Roza. Oh, I didn’t understand the joke.
Ohnishi: I didn’t say a joke.
David: And I’m David Evans. It’s nice to play among the stars with you guys. Let’s get started.

David: All right, it’s time for today’s practice. These phrases are emphatic. There is a lot of emotion in these phrases. And if you pay attention, it sounds very similar between English and Japanese because the emotion comes through so clearly. Have a listen, OK?
Roza: That’s a great point, David. Let’s begin.
David:
- You must be joking!
- You’ve got to be kidding!
Roza: Let’s continue.
- No way!
David: All right. Let’s keep going.
- Don’t give me that.
Roza: And our last couple.
- Come on!
- What are you talking about?

Ohnishi: Hey David, are you serious? You just joined this program six months ago and now you are going to quit?
David: Wow wow wow, no way, I’m not going anywhere. There is no way I leave this program, I love it.
