Opening
Ohnishi: さぁ皆さん、6月も明日のレッスンが最後となりました。これまでよく皆さん、がんばってきました。語学は特に初心者のうちは、ある程度実力ができるまで、続けることが肝心ですよ。これからもよろしくお願いします。
ラジオ英会話、ハートでつかめ英語の極意、講師の大西泰斗です。
Roza: Hey everyone. This is Akino Roza.
David: And I’m David Evans. ようし、がんばるぞ。
Roza: がんばろうね。
Ohnishi: それではさっそく、始めていきましょう。
Au contraire!
Ohnishi: Hey David, do you use this phrase often?
David: I mean, personally, I do when I can, it sounds sophisticated.
Roza: デイビッド、かっこつけるのが好きなんだよ。
何か聞こえるので I mean と書いておきました。

David: All right everyone. Again today, with our practice, we’ll have, ah, 目的語 and to-infinitive. So, the “to” is an arrow pointing the object in the direction of an action. All right, let’s master it together.

Roza: Let’s keep going. me – to leave early …
- She allowed me to leave early.
