冠詞と単数複数が難しいですね・・・
Pronunciation Polish 13:00
David: All right everyone. It’s time for our first pronunciation polish of the month. So, let’s take a look at today’s sentence. “I went to the new Big West Coffee near our school” …
All right, two points to focusing on today, let’s zoom in. First is went plus to, we have double t-es here so one will disappear, went to … very nice.
Next is near plus our, near_our … do you hear the our becomes more like /r/, OK? let’s go one more time. near_our, near_our school …
All right, let’s put some chunks together, then the full sentence. I went to the … I went to the new Big West Coffee …
- I went to the new Big West Coffee near_our school.
One last time.
- I went to the new Big West Coffee near_our school.
All right, you are doing great. We are off to a good start.
tの複数形のつもり
Ending
Onishi: Hey guys, everybody likes drinking coffee, don’t they?
Roza: Well, actually, I don’t. Coffee is not for me really.
David: Oh, in that case, can I have ??? yours?
Roza: Sure.
David: I’m a huge coffee fan.
Onishi: みなさん、それぞれですね。それでは、今日はこの辺で。
All: Bye.
