講師陣の英会話を書きとり(スクリプト)

大西先生、デイビッドさん、ろーざさんの英会話部分を書きとってみましょう!(大西先生のギャグもできるだけ書きとります。)

Opening

Onishi: いやぁ最近、健康に気をつけてるんですけどね。健康にいい食べ物っていっぱいあるんですよ。毎日全部食べてると、かえって太るんです。

ラジオ英会話、ハートでつかめ英語の極意、講師の大西泰斗です。

Roza: つまり、すべてにおいてほどほどに、っていうことですね。

Onishi: その通り。

Roza: Akino Roza here.

David: And I'm David Evans. That's right, balance in all things.

Onishi: というわけで今日も、がんばっていきましょう。

Grasp the Concept
  • As long as she keeps receiving high marks.
  • Keep calm and trust yourself.
  • Please keep the change.
  • I ate a banana to keep going.
  • What's keeping her?

David: Good work.

Practical Usage

これはディクテーションじゃなくて、自分の答えです。

My son keeps asking me if he can have a dog. His ??? is very tight but for now he is not prepared to keep a pet. He can't keep his room clean.

「決心が固い」は be determined って言うのか

Pronunciation Polish 13:00

David: OK everyone. Welcome to today's pronunciation polish. Here is today's sentence. "She needs to keep her attention on her studies" ...

All right, we have two main techniques here. First is the h in her disappears. "keep her attention" becomes "keep her attention". Did you hear the linking there, too? keep her attention ... very nice.

Now let's link up attention and on, attention on ... Wow, there is her again, so it will become attention on her studies ... keep her attention on her studies ...

All right, let's build these chunks into the complete sentence.

  • She needs to keep her attention on her studies.

Let's go one last time.

  • She needs to keep her attention on her studies.

All right, you are doing great. Don't worry if it's not perfect, practice is the key.

Ending

Onishi:  さぁ今日も practical usage のセクション、ちょときつかったですねぇ。Practical usage section is so advanced, right?

Roza: That's right, but it's not supposed to be easy. My advice would be to go back to it and use it to practice even more on your own.

David: That's right, the bar is a little high but that's to help you stretch.

Onishi: というわけで、今日はこの辺で。

All: Bye.
