Ohnishi: さぁ今日から基本文型。英文法で一番大切な個所です。

ラジオ英会話、ハートでつかめ英語の極意、講師の大西泰斗です。がんばっていきましょう。

Roza: Hey everyone. Thanks for joining us again for another Monday lesson. This is Roza Akino.

Chris: Hi guys. Chris McVay here. You know, this program is our pride and joy. Let’s get started.

Ohnishi: それでは、今週もがんばっていきましょう。

Ohnishi: Does this sound strange to use pronoun “she”?

Roza: Not at all.

Chris: No, we often use it for like big ships for example and our own car, “she” is quite normal to us, I think.

“pronoun”は「代名詞」です。

↓船を”she”で受ける話を、ググってみました。

Roza: Our textbook is our pride and joy so check it out.

Ohnishi: Hey Chris. Do you wash your car every day?

Chris: Ah, no, I have a special washing method.

Ohnishi: What’s that?

Chris: I wait till it rains and then the rain cleans my car naturally. How about you, Sensei?

Ohnishi: というわけで、今日はこの辺で。

All: Bye.

クリスさんのは結構早口で難しいですね。

“I’ll wait ~”かもしれません。
