Roza: Hey everyone. Akino Roza here. Let’s get started.
Chris: Well, Chris McVay here. You know, I don’t have a special opening because I’m saving my energy for the practice corner.

Practice 10:00
Chris: OK, guys. Let’s practice. You remember the basic image of get is motion, some kind of process involved, right? Well today, we are going to focus on get to. So, from a starting point we move and little by little, keep moving on until we reach the final destination. So, with that image in mind, let’s practice together.
Roza: And remember, think in English.
Chris: Great, “get to know you better”, try?
And a few more, “get to like it”, “get to hear about my accident”.
Roza: Here some more examples where you can really feel the nuance of going to a destination, “get to London”, “get to the station”, “get to work”.
Chris: OK, let’s keep going, “Don’t let it get to you.”
So, there is a bad situation and it’s gone, it’s way to you, but stop it, stop it, don’t let it reach you. Try once more, “Don’t let it get to you.”
Roza: Last example, “Quick! Get a cloth!”
Great job.
Chris: Well done, guys.
下線を付けたところは早口で、ちょっと自信ないです。
Ending
Roza: Hey Chris, what’s wrong with Sensei? He is looking off into the distance.
Chris: Don’t worry about him, he is just daydreaming or sleeping or something.
Ohnishi: あぁ、終わった?じゃぁまた明日。
All: Bye.
