Opening
Akino Roza here.
Chris: Hi guys. Chris McVay here. Hurry hurry, let’s get started.
Ohnishi:

Practice 10:08
Chris: It’s practice time. The main point we want to make today is that big is not just for size, but it also has many uses when carrying emotion. So, let’s practice that.
Roza: And remember to practice in English.
Chris: Her we go, “Los Angeles is a big city.” “Los Angeles is a large city.”
Roza: OK, let’s go through some figurative uses. They are short but they are a lot of them, “big money”, “big tournament”, “big change”, “big chance”, “big shot”, “big tea drinker”, “big drinker”, “big eater”, “big spender”, “big decision”, “big issue”, “big deal”, “big moment”. Whew, that was a lot.
Chris: Whew, you are out of breath, huh? All of them focus on an emotion, right? (you are) not talking about size. So, that’s the important things to remember here.
Roza: Yep.
Chris: OK, one last section, “have a big heart”, “talk big”, “think big”.
Well, I’m sure you will have a big heart, huh. Well done, today.
Roza: Yeah, you did excellent and that’s a big deal.
Ending
Ohnishi: Hey guys. Why is L used for the size of cloths?
Chris: Oh, I thought it was B … no, only joking. Big would refer be funny. L … because large, large is the adjective for size so, L equals large.
Roza: But don’t worry, Sensei, no matter what your clothing size is, we know you have a big heart.
Ohnishi: Thank you so much.
Ohnishi:
All: Bye.
Big would refer ~ としていたのを Big would be funny.
