Chris: Hi guys. Chris McVay here. Ah, Roza, look, my leg is bleeding.

Practice 9:47

Chris: Are we ready to practice? Today we are looking at little. And just like big, little is not limited to purely physical size, but is also used in an emotional sense. OK, let’s look at some examples. “a little accident”, “a little problem”, “a little mistake”, “a little obstacle”, “have a little chat”, “have a little talk”.

Roza: Continuing on, you can really feel the emotion part of this word in these examples. “a cute little puppy”, “a cute little kitten”, “a cute little bird”, “a cute little car”, “a pretty little cottage”, “a pretty little girl”.

Chris: OK, so I think you are getting the hang of this, let’s have a few more examples. “I have a little suggestion here.” “I have a small suggestion here.”

Roza: And the last view. “The little Mermaid”, “Large-Medium-Small”.

That was fantastic.

Chris: Well done, guys.

get the hang of ~ で「~のコツが分かる」です。

Ending

Ohnishi: Hey guys. I have cute, little medaka.

Roza: That’s so nice, well, I have cute little cats.

Ohnishi: Good.

Chris: That’s enough cute things for today, enough already.

・・・・・

Ohnishi: というわけで、今日はこの辺で。

All: Bye.

ここ、何て言ってるんでしょうね。。。
