Say it in English

Oh, you know I’m a big fan of Japanese sake. I’m happy that you could come here. Let me introduce you to my friends.

Ah, I had a small argument. She said she wanted to have a cute poppy, so I bought this, but she really wanted is a puppy dog. It’s a big fault.

Ending

Ohnishi: Hey guys, could you give me the right pronunciation for poppy and puppy?

Chris: Sure, OK, if we are talking about the little dog, we would say puppy, but if we are talking about the flower, we would say poppy. Roza?

Roza: Well, it’s pretty much the same in American English, too. Puppy, little dog, and the flower is poppy.

Chris: So, why don’t give the listeners a test, and you need just say if it’s a flower or a dog, OK? Here we go, poppy.

Roza: Could you guess, right? Chris was talking about the flower.

Chris: That’s right. You did it, you did it.

Ohnishi:

All: Bye!
