Opening

Roza: Ohnishi-Sensei is always playing video games during our recording. Huh, hey everyone. Akino Roza.

Ohnishi: How did you know that.

Roza: I can hear the sounds.

Chris: Guys, guys. Chris McVay here. We need to be more focused on the job attend.

Ohnishi: OK.

Chris: Obviously, dear listeners, you expect the highest standard when it comes to our textbook. We’ll do our best. Check it out.

Practice 9:34

Roza: OK, guys. Let’s practice the key sentence together. So here, I want you to focus on the location of “obviously”. It’s at the beginning of the sentence, so, as soon as you hear “obviously”, you expect something to follow, right? So, remember that when you practice. Ready to go? All right. Here we go then. “Obviously, you need to be more focused on this mission.”

OK, that was great. One more time. “Obviously, you need to be more focused on this mission.”

Perfect.

Ending

Ohnishi: Hey Chris, why do we have so many barbecue examples?

Chris: Actually, in real life, my older brother who is a chef loves to have barbecues but nine times out of ten when he plans a barbecue, it pours with down with rain. So, as soon as I think of rain, I think a barbecue.

Roza: That’s because he is in England, right?

Chris: That’s right. That doesn’t help.

Ohnishi:

All: Bye!

it pours with down with rain
